Sacramento for Real Rent Control

Sacramento for Real Rent Control

For the last two years, Sacramento renters have been fighting to stop rent increases and unfair evictions by the corporate landlords and wealthy developers profiting from our housing and homeless crisis.

Over a year ago, Sacramento voters submitted 47,000 signatures to qualify permanent rent control on the city ballot for 2020, but Councilmember Steve Hansen, Mayor Steinberg and a few other Council members have refused to put this before voters.

We believe that they should be listening to the will of 47,000 voters who live in Sacramento over the wealthy real estate interests who are funding their political campaigns and growing their profits.

Sacramento voters deserve a voice!

Email Councilmember Steve Hansen & tell him, “I support Real Rent Control in Sacramento and call on you to stand with renters & not the interests of corporate real estate!”
